Cute/Chibi Sceptile Avatars for VRChat (PC & Quest)
~Thank you for downloading the free Cute Sceptile avatar!~
These avatars came to be thanks to Estefanoida (artist) and Scepkight (commissioner)
The character is based on Sceptile from Pokemon, however no official models were used, this was made from scratch with several custom animations including a pokeball mode, dances with music, color toggles and more. We do not own the rights to the character!
For any questions about my avatars, please contact me through Twittler @Estefanoida , Deviantart Estefanoida or Discord Estefanoida#9198. I also take avatar and 3D model commissions, professionaly made from scratch!
Please keep in mind the following when using or editing this model
- You are allowed to make edits to the models and avatars, however, DO NOT use the models for commercial purposes (selling), this includes adoptables and modified versions
- DO NOT remove the signature inside the models
- You are allowed to use the models outside of VRchat and other social games if you give credit to the authors.
- Do not make harmful or hateful edits to harass/crash others in VRChat
What the package includes (2022 Update):
- 2 Custom Sceptile models: Regular and Chibi style
- VRChat set-up menus
- NEW: Both PC and Quest models!
- NEW: Physbones set-up!
- Poiyomi Shader used
- Ready to upload avatar scenes.
What is NOT included:
- VRChat SDK3
How do I upload to VRChat?
- Download the current Unity version used by VRC (Unity Hub recommended) Unity
- Download VRC SDK3 Avatars: SDK3
- Open Unity
- (Suggested) make a brand new Unity project for these models.
- Import the Poiyomi Shader included in my zip file.
- Lastly, import the Cute Sceptile unity package. Search for avatar the scene of your choice! (there are no prefabs, but rather scenes already set up)
- Open VRC SDK window, log in and upload!
Common errors:
My model is bright pink!: You didn't import the shader, I recommend starting a brand new project for this asset only if you already have other shaders like Poiyomi in your existing project. Import the Poiyomi shader I included in the zip.
The model is not showing at all, but the files did import!: This can happen because you're using an old version of Unity, make sure to get the current Unity version used by VRChat. Another reason this happens if you already have a Poiyomi shader in your project, and it is not the version I used on this asset.
IF you desperately need help, you can contact me at my social media mentioned on the top of this description (but keep in mind I'm not always available to help with uploading questions from my free models).
Many thanks to Scepkight for making this model free to share with anyone!
